Hi all - would someone please be so kind as to confirm for me if either the Sofitel (standard Luxury room) or Mondrian Duxton Hill (standard Signature City King and/or City Skyline King room) in Singapore has StayPlus availability for 9-12 August and confirm pricing? Very much appreciated.

Well that didn't go well. I cancelled the original flexible booking, the StayPlus returned to my account immediately, and on the final page of trying to book the Singapore trip, the system errored out immediately when I hit "pay" and the StayPlus night has disappeared from my account.

Its original validity was until March 2027 and as noted, the booking I cancelled was flexible. Even weirder it appeared but has now disappeared. On hold to Accor for over an hour with no answer and no response to their WhatsApp support. Sigh.

Update: the Stay Plus reappeared a few hours after my failed booking last night. I tried again before bed, it failed again, and the Stay Plus night disappeared again --- so the failed booking likely tied it up temporarily until it got swept out of the system. I tried one more time at 4:30am when the cat decided he would take his breakfast (): booking failed again; Stay Plus disappeared again. I wondered if it might be because it was applying the Stay Plus to a "pay two nights, stay three" rate which in practice meant I was only actually paying for one night (and two were showing as $0 in the detailed pricing conditions). Perhaps the Stay Plus wasn't counting as one of the "pay 2" nights to qualify for the 3rd in an attempt to "double dip"?

But I called this morning when the Stay Plus showed back up in my account and the guy in the Philippines was able to book it for me even on the "Pay 2, Stay 3 " rate without an issue and there was no mention of attempting to collect an additional fee for booking over the phone like the automated system warned about earlier in the call at least twice.

So -- success. $650 AUD for 3 nights at the Singapore City Centre Sofitel. Can't argue with that.
