I've noticed a number of members have raised questions about thoughts on particular Accor restaurants in Australia or alternatively are asking the question, "What's the best Accor restaurant in CITY?". To begin to address these questions, I thought I'd start this separate thread to track people's experiences about the various Accor restaurants they have visited and or whether they would recommend it to others.

Here's the general format we should use when writing a review (feel free to quote this when writing a review):

Restaurant Name, Property and Location:

Time of Day Visited (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner):

Accor+ Dining Discount Offered?

Hours (if known):

Outdoor Dining Available?

VIP treatment as elite:

Additional care:

General comments:

I'll try to post some reviews of the various Accor restaurants I've visited this year, when I find the time.

Welp it looks like I'll be the first to post here!

Restaurant Name, Property and Location: Sola Restaurant, Novotel Sunshine Coast, Twin Waters, QLD

Time of Day Visited (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner): All

Accor+ Dining Discount Offered? Yes

Hours (if known): Seems to be Sun-Wed: 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM and Thurs - Sat from 6:30 AM to 10 PM

Outdoor Dining Available? Yes

VIP treatment as elite: If you are staying at the property buffet breakfast will be offered for you as an Accor Platinum or above. Quality is comparable to a Fairmont, I'd say.

Additional care: If you ask for sparkling water with lime it's free!

General comments: Buffet breakfast is offered for $37 per person with there being a Saturday seafood dinner buffet for $105 per person. Accor+ discount seems to be fairly widely accepted (unsure on the buffet thing) but I ordered all sorts of stuff whilst I was there: salad, pizza, barramundi, etc. Decent options on the menu albeit it's not the most expansive menu I've seen at an Accor hotel (it's literally one page double sided).

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Can confirm Accor plus is eligible at the buffet as at Jan, 2023.
