Hi,

Does anybody happen to know how I could possibly get my hands on a couple of these Member for a Day passes?

Thanks,
Libby

Hi libbo72, Welcome to AFF.

If you PM me your details, I'd be happy to give you my Member For A Day certificate. I'll have a chat to my Dad at some stage and see if he's happy to pass on his as well.

Basically the certificate entitles you to 1 night's accomodation at the Advantage Plus members rate and 50% off dining. I find the Accor program pretty poor value at $245 per year (you can normally pick up some last minute specials that are better) unless you manage to use the complimentary night at a Sofitel where the value is > than $245.

Cheers,

If anyone else has one or two of these they don't need I would gladly make good use of it. The superboy has made it to the PSSA state swimming championships and consequently we have to spend two nights at the Novotel at Olympic Park!

Hi littl_flier,
What kind of discount is available for Adv Plus customers (eg thos member for a stay card)? I agree there can be Accor specials (like the $75 easter specials which were mainly for the 2-3 star Accord brands) and promos that likely undercut the value of this cad anyway.

I'm tossing up Melbourne options instead of 2nts at the MEL Hilton - the Grand by Sofitel is one option and I'd appreciate advice on member pricing. Maybe I should join for the Sofitel night?

Thanks!
