Where ever you stay the MRT is very easy and cheap to get around so it may be worth considering places a little further out than you would normally do.

Do you have any hotel status :?:

I love the Quincy, right near Orchard Rd (great shopping). About 300m walk to MRT.

Hi guys, I am also going to Singapore. I am in Singapore for 2 weeks start of April, am gold with VA so I am flying Singapore and am also gold with Accor.

Any suggestions?

Is an apartment a good idea compared to say the Quincy?

Are you travelling alone / with partner / with kids? The Quincy is ok and pretty good value for money but the rooms are very small and really designed for solo travellers.

Which hotel in Singapore is close to SEA Aquarium and Vivo ? My budget is between $100 to $200.

I like the Pan Pacific Orchard if you're looking to stay around Orchard Road and recommend it highly. Great showers and very good spacious rooms, free internet if you sign up for GHA Discovery program. Close to shops, MRT etc. I've also stayed in the Parkroyal on Kitchener which was very nice and modern. My only complaint was being a "green" hotel means the showers suck. The Parkroyal is walking distance to Clarke Quay. I've also stayed at the Hilton but didn't like that as much as others. I tend to use a hotel for sleeping and showering only, so I don't tend to use the facilities or eat in the hotel restaurant, so I can really only comment on the locatrion and room quality.

The Ibis Bencoolen is walkable from the Bugis MRT, esp if you walk through the Bugis St market and into the 'back door ' of the htl. Whilst walking through the market grab a watermelon juice fresh squeezed.

In the lower price range and easily reachable from the airport on the MRT. Neat and clean smallish rooms good for those on a budget travelling alone.
