Accommodation in CDG airport help please

Booking the Qatar J class deal last year as seen us transiting in CDG pre and post trip in September.
We arrive into CDG on Qatar Terminal 1 at around 6am from DPS through Doha. Our final destination is Heswell which is a ferry across the Mersey - from Liverpool for a family celebration. We’ve decided to stay that day and night at CDG to catch up on sleep then fly to Manchester the next day, presumably AF that leaves from Terminal 2E.

Returning we depart on Qatar around 9am having trained in from London the day before. Terminal 1.

It seems that Sheraton is within Terminal 2 but crickeys it’s expensive.

So depending on the logistics, how easy is it to get from some of the surrounding hotels into Terminal 2E first, and then Terminal 1 (Sheraton not so convenient there).

I’ve read on TA that the shuttle buses aren’t all that great, so we would train it. Experience with those anyone?

Any tips gratefully received. It’s just a few weeks away.

Have stayed at Hilton a number of times. Quiet can be ok price wise or very expensive so you will need to check your dates abd book asap. Very flexible on check in times too. 6 am might be a strech though.
In terms of transfers they provide a bus to 2 if you want that terminal. If you want 1 or 3 get the free train from T1 to T3 or vv where the hilton is just outside T3 takes 5 mins very easy to see hotel.
Also stayed at Citizen M next to hilton very small rooms quiet always good prices. Free drink on check in too.

Thankyou. So the train service is quite good without having to worry about the hotel shuttles? But for terminal 2 we will need to get the bus. Yes, 6am a stretch but I did see that Sheraton offered an early access for an extra few euros.

Train is very easy between 3 and 1 comes every 4 mins and takes 5 mins lifts and escalator for luggage. It then goes onto 2 which does have a bit of a walk to get to the gates.
Just use the hilton shuttle for 2 as its the most convient to get to most of the gates. No shuttle for Citizen M
