I am having to flight short notice to Tamworth tomorrow from Brisbane to attend a funeral. I am a Qantas club member and I wondered if I would be able to access the lounge pre-flight?
I know Qantas are affiliated with Brindabella as I was asked to provide my QF frequent flyer number when purchasing the flight online.

I believe the answer is no... You earn QFF points but last I heard they don't let you access the QP.

Of course you could always check, the worst they would do is tell you no...

Technically the answer is no but they do call the flight in the lounge, so I would expect you can get in!

I'll give it a go then, as you say, worst that can happen is that they say no:lol:

I heard them call a Brindabella flight in the BNE J lounge about 2 weeks ago as well - so definitely after anytime access ceased.

I received a very warm welcome, happy about that:)
Thanks for the replies.

The airoplane on the way out was a lot bigger than the one on the way back though.
We had to crouch down on entering, you couldnt stand, there was only one seat on either side of the aisle, no toilet on board, or seat belt signs , safety display etc. It was fine for me, I was able to read the literature in the pocket seat, was in an exit seat as well so that was important. Just prior to landing the co-pilot read out a message which no-one could hear because of the drone of the engines.

Poked my head around the seat in front and watched the pilot land the plane on the strip from the 6th row.

Not as scary as flying in an 8 seater plane from the mainland in Samoa to Upola, was an 8 seater plane, the pilot appeared to be under instruction and co-pilot was giving him ticks on a sheet when he got something right.
