Hi, in September I will have a 4 hour lay over in Abu Dhabi Airport on my way to Heathrow. I am travelling economy with Etihad and arriving/departing Terminal 3. So using Etihads Diamond/Pearl Lounges is out.

That leaves me with the Abu Dahbi Lounges;

Al Dhabi Lounge in Terminal 1
Al Ghazal Lounge in Terminal 2 ( Does not have showers so is OUT )
Al Reem Lounge in Terminal 1

The question I have for anyone who has used these lounges before are these;

a) How far is it from T3 to T1
b) Is T1 on the outside of Customs ( do we have to go through Customs etc etc and then back in to use lounges in T1 )
c) Which of these 2 would be the choice?

Any more information would be appreciated.

John

Terminal 1 is about a 10-15 minute walk from Terminal 3; it's still inside the Customs area, though you'll have to clear security again to get in to T3 (pretty painless - hasn't ever taken longer than 10 minutes and usually faster). I've not gone from T3 to T1, so I'm not sure what the procedure is there.

No knowledge of the lounges in T1, so I can't help you there. I'm told the Al Reem lounge is fairly average.
