AA reward flights

From my understanding there is no set time. We’ve used AA points an over 15 years - AU to EUR and the US, others may have more knowledge.

Yes. I have been watching their flights to establish a time but haven’t been able to work out any consistency.

On some seasonal routes within the US, AA may not release award seats until a few months out

Edit: i.e., once the seasonal schedule has been released

Award seats for redemption using AAdvantage miles are now based on dynamic pricing. So you can get an award seat on almost all flights - but the number of miles needed varies based on the current revenue ticket fare. So for AA members, awards are available as soon as a flight is available for sales.

But if you question is related to AA award flights available to QFF members using QFF points for a classic reward redemption, then as @SYD has noted, it is generally 331 days but not all flights will have availability for partner redemptions.
