Hi

I am trying to get some quick cheap points on my AA account before they expire 15 Sept.

I jumped on the AAshopping site and clicked on the iTunes purchases, thinking I can buy a 99c song and get 3 quick miles added to AA account. However, every time I click on the "shop now" button on the https://www.aadvantageeshopping.com/ site it takes me to Apple iTunes program download page?

I already got iTunes downloaded on pc so is it not supposed to take me to my iTunes program already loaded on my PC so I can purchase a song?

So anyone get AA points this way knows how it works?

Thanks

I believe you're meant to link your account somehow, but I'm not entirely sure how this is done sorry, and don't have an account with the eShopping mall.

I don't believe it works with iTunes Australia store. I have a US itunes account and always get AA points for it, but if I remember correctly, the first time I used it I got an error as I was logged into Australian iTunes.

Ok thanks but I also have a US iTunes account so should be able to replicate what you did.

So how does it work for you?

Do you first go to the aashopping site,
- Click the iTunes link
- Does it then take you to iTunes program on your computer or iTunes website online?

No - I just log into AAshopping, and do a search for iTunes. It then redirects me, and iTunes automatically opens on my mac.

iTunes on my Mac is logged into a USA iTunes account. When I click on the link on the mall, it opens iTunes and I get Apple music logo and a generic "An error occurred."
