Just got an EF alert to say my flight on CX101 in April is now on an A350 (changed from B777). Perhaps they can use a spare 777 to switch the old A330s out.

Just had a ride on their 330. After a 3-3-3 seating in Y on a 350, the 2-4-2 on a 330 felt so much nicer. Plus the seatback storage was really versatile - me like it a lot. 👍

That's fair comment. I have always liked the A330 in Y for the same reason. I was thinking more of the J cabin where the seats are older, smaller, and less comfortable than the 777.

Nice upgrade if you are in business class :)

I agree. I noticed the other day that I'd lost my bulkhead seat on CX101 for a June flight and was annoyed, but after re-checking after seeing this forum noticed it would have been in part because of a change to a 359.

Flew the CX 359 in Y+ on a HKG-MEL last year so excited to do it in J this year.

Our flight is in Y+, as the last leg of our return from LHR. it is a classic reward, and will be decent test of their latest fitout.

I really liked their Y+ seat. I’m 6’2 and had a bulkhead. I got as much rest as I’ve had in any other Y+ seat on an overnight flight so I think it’ll be as comfortable as it can be for premium.

The food was very ordinary on my flight though. I remember that I was the first person served (was sitting in 30C) and when I went to order one of the main dishes on the menu, they mentioned that none of those had been loaded.
