Hi Folks,

After accumulating credit card points for many years, struggling to find ways to utilise them and then starting to travel internationally more frequently for work, I have developed the travel bug and came across this wonderful community.

Great advice on optimising awards, credit card churning, seat selection, lounges and other general tricks of the trade.

This year we accumulated around 800K qantas points from credit card bonuses, flying and credit card spend thanks to the advice on AFF.

For 2018, have spent about 1.1M of qantas points for premium award flights to Singapore, Maldives, Koh Samui and Europe, including an upcoming EK A380 F experience

Going to be a great year.

Thanks AFF

Nice. Got a NHL team?
And btw, there's an AFF Christmas dinner on the 23rd if you're not doing anything.

Not really. My employer is Chicago based so have a bit of a leaning towards the Blackhawks but really try to get to a game where I can when in North America.

At home I play and officiate.

Sorry, can’t make the 23rd as I have a prior family commitment but will definitely look out for future events.

Welcome to AFF - I have learnt a lot from this board too
