Good afternoon folks,

Myself and family are going to be over the west side for approximately 10 days next FEB and have no idea what we want to see and do! We've got 2 nights in Perth at the beginning and after that have a car for road tripping.

We don't mind the country or the beach and would love to do some kind of circuit, what do people think is best? North of Perth, east of Perth or south of Perth?

Thanks
Nate

We did a tour in WA which if I am not mistaken was a bit more than 10 days but we took south back then. We drove from Perth all the way down to Cape Leeuwin, then east to Albany, up to the Wave Rock and back west towards Perth and up a bit to the Pinnacles. Really enjoyed the trip!

Depending on how much you like driving and what interests you, could do something like Kalgoorlie (de-tour into Peak Charles national park), Esperance, Albany, Wave Rock.

Margaret River, Esperance, Albany, Busselton - it's all about the SouthWest or 'down south' as it's known to locals :)

Park at the airport, fly to Singapore, it will be cheaper than 10 days/nights in Perth.

February tends to be very hot - I'd choose south and coastal rather than inland. Depending on when in February, school holidays will still be on and availability and prices will be at a premium.

Try Busselton - Yallingup - Margaret River - Cape Leeuwin - Valley of the Giants - Denmark - Albany and back to Perth. Nice varied scenery, big forests, beaches and coastal.

Will be very hot. I was in Perth in March this year and several days in a row the temp each day was in mid to late 30s. Agree coastal and south best.

Thanks for the tips folks, all helpful!

We need a break from SE Asia for a while rok!

That circuit sounds good avro! We are arriving on the 25th,
Hoping school holidays will be over!
