Sitting in the QF 1st lounge at Melb, I noticed a 747 flying QF430 today.
Would that be a one off (i.e. how can I book onto it next time!)?!
I was here this time last week too and noticed an empty 747 flying up to Sydney at about the same time - so wondering if they need one ferried up on a Monday morning and shove it into service.
I'm flying between Mel and Syd so often these days that any little change is welcome (and a 747 would be very welcome!).

Today (and Mondays until June) JQ operates a Dreamliner from MEL to SYD at a convenient time of 14:45 AEDT (13:45 AEST) on its way to DPS...

Thanks Airwin - I’m all over that one :)

Little lonely up front today though...

Looks like my pic isn’t working, but imagine a very empty JQ Dreamliner cabin!

Me too actually at this stage- have been doing it so regularly the lounge staff are becoming friends!

Hi AIRwin - has the JQ option disappeared early? I see it's going tomorrow, but can't see it any other week :-(
Was good while it lasted!

Looks like JQ37 MEL-SYD is reinstated in April...
