Hey Guys,

Just wondering what your opinions are for the best economy seats available for a silver flyer on QF015 & QF016.

I have recently hit silver but generally do 3 BNE to LAX trips for work each year. Now that I can select my seats without cost I thought I would get all your opinions.

Im traveling with another Bronze traveller and currently got seats 72A/72B selected for each way.

Now this seems good as there is 2 of us and I only have to get over someone I know to go to the bathroom etc, but I've also heard that the window seat has quite a gap between the seat and window which doesnt allow you to really rest on the wall.

Also we would have limited meal choice and be the last to get off and have to wait in LA for a while.

What are your guys thoughts on what seats I should pick? I have from row 40 backwards but seems like 40 to 50 is pretty much all taken.

Any advice appreciated :)

QF15/16 is generally (but not always) operated by a 3-class 744. If the 3-class then look Dow row 38 at T-80 hours. Not sure is Silver will see that row available. As an AA Plat (sapphire) I generally don't see them available until T-80, but have always been able to score them at that point.

If it's a 4-class then look for row 40.
