743 to Perth laptop power in J

A question for a friend using this service soon. The Dreamtime seats in J on the 743's operating to Perth have power outlets for laptops etc. Are these power outlets actually working on these flights?
 
Per seatguru - the 743 dont have inseat power. I certainly didnt on a 743 to the US...
 
The seats certainly have power outlets...but are they operational?

PS. Seatguru is not always correct :!:
