Typical, I just booked some Air NZ flights about 3 weeks ago for a trip to NZ for my sisters wedding in march :evil:

Rarely book any of my 20 or so Air NZ bookings per year using the OZ portal - the NZ peso is so much more cost effective ... still ...

An it is generally much cheaper ex USA as well. Two weeks ago I purchased LAX-MEL-LAX via AKL for Apr/Jun 2012 for USD1480 ...

Nice one serfy, thanks again for another useful tip, I also find sometimes the NZ site more cost effective, have not tried the US site, but based on your feedback might be worth checking in the future for US trips.
