Hi..can anyone recommend a reasonable type hotel in Nashville for 5 nights...hopefully not more than $200 per night...we are not sure whether to stay downtown, but it looks as though most hotels also charge another $19 a day for car parking or stay closer to the airport and drive in and out of downtown and surrounds as required. I had enquired about a Wyndham Resort that is there but at this stage they cannot offer 5 nights and not sure how safe it is anyway. We have tickets already booked for the Grand Old Opry and want to try and get to the BlueBird Cafe but apart from that cannot see that we will have many nights out late in the downtown area. If anyone has been and has some other recommendations for hotels or places to go I would be grateful. I dont know why but I thought it would be cheaper than it appears to be on lots of sites I have looked at. Hilton Gold and Accor Plat but not sure that counts for much over there.:)

I highly reccomend spending the extra money to stay downtwown (I think the Holiday Inn is a couple of blocks away and is a reasonable price), but if you prefer not to, maybe stay at the Opryland area.
