On the Qantas Facebook page on my iPhone 30 minutes ago (logged onto Qantas site on laptop and it was nowhere to be seen) a link to 380 flights for 380GBP just flashed up with the following story:

==========

We're excited to announce that from 31st March 2013, we'll be flying to Dubai!

To celebrate, we're offering 380 seats from 380GBP return economy from London Heathrow. Offer is strictly limited and available until the seats are sold. Depart between 1 April and 31 May 2013.

Flights toand from Dubai are subject to regulatory approval.

==========

If I knew how do to a screenshot on an iPhone I would but it is new to me and I have not worked out how.

I clicked on the link but it takes you to the normal Australian booking pages. I then read it again and headed to the UK site and could indeed book 2 x return flights leaving on the 31st May but I have no use for them?! Arghhhhhhh!

Come on RedRoo, lets have some Aussie deals like this! :)

You'll need to be quicker than that around these parts :p

Strange that I had a quick look in 'new posts' and did not see anything on the subject from the past few hours. Still thinking of how this could tie in to a visit home at such a steal of a price but it is not coming to me. Think I will have to let someone more needy take them. Damn Qantas for teasing us!!

And presumably you would just get a refund *if* the partnership did not get approval rather than a return trip to Singapore?! That is dreaming I think!

As I understand it, they are going to go through Dubai regardless of the outcome of the approval process.

I looked at them (and yeah, they are still available). But like you couldn't really make the jigsaw pieces fit properly - especially five months in advance. It is pseudo changeable (75 pounds), but not refundable. Perhaps QF will have a sale coming up ex-DBX to Australia?

By the way, to get a screenshot from your iPhone, press the home button and the power button together.... The screenshot then appears in your camera roll

Just been nosey and these prices are still available. I thought they would have been long gone by now! I need to convince the parents to go via LHR and get these prices when they come out next year but they just want the convenience of NCL-DXB-SYD. So they still have to wait until the QF/EK announcement is made and I can put their FF memberships to use - good old family transfer. :)

Top man Andy!! (maybe I should have read this in the instructions somewhere)
