Joing the club of having the same issue.
Statement received last week, rewards status shows active but nothing has come across to Velocity. At least they have acknowledged it and hopefully we see something come through by the next statement cycle.

Further update to this, still no points and now the status has changed to "rejected" in the rewards portal of my virginmoney account. I guess i am going to have to call up and see whats going on.
I have checked my details and they all match so not sure what the go is. My next statement is due is a couple of days as well.
Has anyone had to call up to query? just seeing what number was best to call.

So called virgin Money on Friday. They said it may have been an issue with how my details populated in their backend system and they did not match my velocity account. He updated them while on the phone and said I would receive both lots of 25,000 points on the next statement cycle(which was yesterday)

This morning the 2 X 25,000 points came across from last 2 statement cycles, together with the points earn from the month and the bonus 30,000 from the signup offer.

Pretty happy with that and the only thing I seem to be missing now is the points earn from spending in the first month so might have to follow up with them again for that one.

How long do Westpac typically take to post bonus points for a new card? Pretty sure I hit the hurdle last statement (3 May) but possibly 3 June just gone. Points for both posted but no sign of bonus, yet...

I had them on my first statement which then posted into 2 entries on the same day on Velocity.

Velocity then added the bonus the next day - so everything was done quite smoothly. Maybe call them to check that they gave the correct velocity number in the back-end ?

Must've as I'm getting the points.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is on Westpac, the problems I had when I signed up were inexplicable and amateur. I might ring Westpac tomorrow, thank you.

Just to attempt to clarify before I join some more phone queues....
I am missing the 30k bonus points (I chose points instead of status) on top of the bonus points from my monthly Virgin Money credit card spend. My partner had the same card and same bonus email confirmation and got points on the first month spend as expected.

Should i be calling Velocity or Money? I tried them both last week and got the run around...

Velocity, as the offer is from them (as well as the points). As long as you have the trigger points from Virgin Money, they have done what they are meant to do).

My partner and I both signed up for the Westpac deal (a week apart), both spent the required amount in the first month yet mine showed up instantly (first statement) and nothing happened for her for two months.

A call to the call centre and this has apparently been fixed (we'll find out tomorrow, I'll try to remember to edit this post) but she also suffered Westpac's "issues" on signup, somehow ended up with two profiles which I think is possibly what caused the error. I had this issue in 2021, but it didn't cause any issues with posting the points. Just posting this info here as another data point.

Just called the Velocity call centre again. Fun!
After 20+ minutes back and forward they have apparently "found" this offer and can "confirm you've been approved for 30,000 points" but that it will take "up to another 60 days as per per T&Cs". The T&Cs obviously state 30 days (which has now elapsed) but they simply won't do anything else and I am not convinced that this wasn't simply a line to get me off the phone and call back in 2 months. Any tips in getitng to an Aus-based call crew?

Has anyone had any troubles applying for the Virgin flight credit? Have filled in the online form twice over the past month but heard nothing back

Yes. I have completed it twice, using different browsers and have had no response. I am planning on phoning them to make the request unless there is another suggestion.

Yep. Same. When I had the Virgin card I applied for the flight credit back in late Jan and it came through to travel bank in early Feb. Now my wife has this card and we have done the form twice over the last few weeks and nothing. Haven’t followed up yet.

I actually rang Virgin Money about this issue and they were not helpful at all, just kept telling me to fill in the online form again.

It was, the points from Westpac arrived, but not the bonus SC.

Looks like she is in for a fun time when back in AU. Thanks for the info. Is there anyway to contact Velocity via email? A reference number and a paper trail may assist...

I also received the points (from Virgin money in my case) but not the status credits.

I had to ring up and complain 5 times to get Virgin Money to manually credit the points, but the format is different and the system hasn't picked it up, and so the status credits haven't posted.
Trying to discuss this with Virgin Australia is impossible, they don't even know what offer you are talking about. After 30 minutes they come back and triumphantly announce they have solved your issue and the status credits will list in 3 days..

No it has been 60 days that's why I am calling you, as discussed at beginning of call.

Any advice?

She sent an email to Velocity (complete with links to the T&C and references to the format of the bonus points posting being different to mine) on Sunday. Haven't heard anything back yet - apparently five business days, which I find is true when you are WP, will be interesting to see how she goes. I'll update the post again when it happens - clearly there's at least two people commenting about this!

I might have helped write that one ;)

Finally have this sorted, but it's been actioned as a manual exception transfer by Westpac, so I imagine I'll now have to chase up Velocity for the 250 status credits...that'll be fun based on the above :(

Velocity's website states that they'll get back to my partner in 28 days, although the email says five business days - that's today, I am hoping as the request is 'written' it will get handled by the right person and not passed off like in the case of drmatte.

Sounds like this is a common problem with Westpac... still can't believe in this day and age with KYC & AML that she somehow was two 'people' in their database.

My 70,000 points have posted so that's good, however they are listed on my account as "Westpac Platinum Card Base Points" which has me thinking it probably won't trigger the status credits. Just wondering if anyone else signed up for the Westpac Platinum Altitude card and can advise on what their statement shows for the bonus points posting...
