Recently my mother in law passed away and this last week we have been sorting out her estate. My father in law owned a freight forwarding company which my brother in law still runs. Amongst the paper work I found some old Qantas baggage labels (1982) a Qantas restricted articles pamphlet (1980) an outgoing passenger card (1979) and an Ansett ticket for SYD to LAX on Continental flight CO2 (27/11/81) returning SFO to SYD on Qantas flight QF4 (14/12/81). The price for the flights were $924.00 per person and may have been industry fares. There are also, on that trip, internal USA domestic flights ticketed on Ansett tickets for LAS to SFO on WA173, which I believe at the time was Western Airways. A very nice find to have these in immaculate condition.
