Looking at flying Qatar J and it has a 19.5 hour lay over in Abu Dabai. Will they provide a hotel for the lay over. I am looking at booking on the web.

short answer is that it depends, depending on the class that you are flying and the scheduled departures to/from your origin/destination you may be entitled to a hotel.

edit*** I did have the let me google that for you link but the site appears to be down for maintenance.

there is a fair bit on this on the FT site but this pretty much sums it up

"Basically, to benefit from free transit hotels, you would need for the shortest possible transit on your itinerary to be over 8 hours, so if your layover is 22 hours by choice while an under 8 hour transit exists in the schedule, you will not be eligible to free transit."
