1:45am Flight .. Melb - Darwin ... Lounge?

Hey Guys

Flying our Wednesday night (thursday morning) at 1:45am from Melbourne to Darwin...

Just wondering if the Lounge will be open?

I have seen reports from others that it is open. I would expect that it would be as VA state that the lounge will be open until the last flight.

Can confirm (much to my surprise), that it does stay open.

Very limited food supply, but usual alcohol.

Well technically they could close at midnight (last flight of the day has left) and then reopen at 0100 (45 minutes before first flight!). But of course that would mean they'd have to be open 0100-0515, which of course wouldn't suit them one bit!

Yes VLounge is normally open until 01:00 am ish! You will prob only be one of a few in there, and it's great!

Agree. VA Lounge Angels in MEL very accommodating for me as VA Plat with a few hours to spare before going air-side internationally and out on the SQ midnight (ish) to SIN- and before the SQ lounge opens air side. One time, with an earlier in the day VA domestic flight from interstate. Other time, i was just dropped off 4 hours earlier to Tulla and before SQ Int. check in opened.

Can confirm MEL lounge is open until they call the DRW flight ... About 1.15ish. When I visited, there were only a handful of people there ... Very quiet!
