Signed up. You don't have to provide your phone number, only your email address. So there's no possibility of receiving annoying soliciting calls in the future. A few minutes later I got this email:

'Hey Dr Ralph, welcome to loanScor

Thanks for joining loanScore, part of uno Active Home loan Management! Your Velocity Frequent Flyer number will be provided to Velocity so they can update your account with your points!"

I got the email and thought I wouldnt bother, but just did.

When the results came back I gave them my phone number if they could renogitiate a better deal with my lender.

Mine further on said I could get a bonus 100,000 if I settle a home loan with uno by 30 of September.

It’s asking me for my address. As I don’t have a home loan I found the answers a guess.

I'm sceptical that they can do a better deal for me. Claimed I could save $3000 over the next 3 years if I used their services. But every lenders rate they displayed was higher than my current rate and I currently pay $0 fees on my loan. On that basis it seems impossible that they could save me even $1!

They are also offering 100,000 points if you settle a loan via them by September 30.

Mine was about $2,300 over 3 years.

Every dollar counts!

I'm starting to become more than a little sceptical.

When I signed up I got a loan score of 73/100. When I signed Mrs DrRalph up and used identical details (except the velocity member number) her score came back as 88/100!

Maybe your house value went up?

Just checked and the estimate that they provided for the house is different!

Exactly the same address, details entered into their system within 10 minutes.

Signed up. I only have $11K left on my mortgage. It will be paid off in about 4 months. They told me my mortgage is in poor shape!

EDIT: received email just sai my load score is 99/100 and I can save $0. That's more like it.

Looks like the landing page is not well-matched with the email automation.

I said I had 300K left on the loan and they suggest that they can save me nothing. So, I don't suppose I'll see the 1K VA pts.

Thanks for the link, checked my loan & received 99/100, have a further 4 years remaining on my 10 year interest free loan so going to continue with this but 1000 points easily obtained.

I got this one too. Not sure how good the advice is -- it's showing me a loan with the exact same interest rate as I currently pay and telling me I could save $3,000 over three years. Um, what?

Also oddly enough a service majority owned by Westpac thinks that Bank of Melbourne, Bank SA or St George are the best deals in the market for me... I wonder why.

But happy to take some free velocity points for minimal effort.

Do we know the time for velocity points to get posted after the loan health check is done.

At least with mine, they included a $4,000 bonus that the loan they were offering must provide, which is why it can make ‘sense’ that you can ‘save’ even at the same interest rate. Absolutely agree its not a great tool. Easy 1k points though.

Follow up email today from uno which seems incredibly presumptive:

'Hey DR Ralph,

Great news! Your loan is now being managed by uno.'
This is the same email sent to me as well. I don’t remember having given any consent for uno loans to manage my loan.
