    Agree with you 100%, many times I have booked flights out of Philippines on Jetstar or SQ using credit card from Australia with no problems but Qantas insist that you need to present CC at their office in Manila within 2 days. I would much rather fly direct to Aus with Qantas but I have no choice!

    yes, China would be good but my thinking is that it could be Vietnam - considering the minimal presence of VN in Australia and also the joint venture that Jetstar are now building there.

    yes, I was hoping for that but on the itinerary it shows the MEL-SIN as starclass but the SIN-MNL as jetsaver. Is that correct?

    I just booked MEL-MNL return on one booking in JQ starclass. The MEL-SIN flight is Starclass and I guess SIN-MNL no starclass on A320. Will I get QF points for both legs? JQ helpline could not answer the question!

    It may be worth your while to get an APEC business travel card to help you get thru immigration quickly.
