Currently got a travel agent looking into what she can do for me to see if progress can be made that way. If I can't add the infant ticket I think I will either try to buy an economy ticket with a lap infant ticket for the same flight or cancel altogether and look at other options.

Yeah I don't know why it's so hard. There's no attempt at communication between the airlines at all. It's a joke.
