Had a similar issue. They said this was 'not possible' to convert seats. How did you explain the process to them?

Im so glad to have found this thread!! I have been trying to get my flight reinstated (SYD-LHR) for two months and nothing! I have probably called Qantas 20 times now and always get hung up on, palmed off or get the 'we will call you back'. I'm at my wits end and there isn't even economy reward...
