Way I read that is if you're currently hold another HSBC credit card and apply for this one, or if you've previously held this particular card in the past 18 months, then you're ineligible. I'd cancel all HSBC cards before applying

Anyone know if you can use the guest allowance (included with Citi prestige) at cafes etc for yourself? Or would I need to make friends with another traveller if I wanted to spend more?
