Rex launches its own frequent flyer program (in October 2023)

surely Rex could get any number of international airlines to tie up with, without being in an alliance. Look at it this way. Many people like myself, need to go interstate at relatively short notice. say had to go BNE/SYD/BNE for a same day return. Want to get a flight around 7am & back about...

So what routes will VA cut ?

SYD/ABX cut is interesting. Told plenty of public servants living in Albury region (ATO etc). Yes there were 3 airlines doing it & virgin won't have any atrs, but alliance has 3 different fokkers that could get in & out of ABX. Saw that Nauru were looking to fly a Boeing 737-300 BNE/ABX direct...

Why ? Think there's a very good chance they will go. New Zealand might have flights to USA & Australia/NZ flights look like a goer soon, but maybe not from Victoria.

Qantas joins Virgin in criticism of Rex using government aid to fuel growth

I read the the bailout money was for regional services & the $200m Rex is getting is from mortgaging or providing security, in form of much of their fleet of 50 or more Saab 340s. So bailout money is not connected to funds to take on Virgin/Qantas. Hope Rex does well on golden triangle. It...

    QFi - Virtual Airline

I think you under estimate the huge pent up demand for international travel. Talking to some health workers today & they are itching to go overseas & haven't been able to, due to crazy restrictions. Talking to a few doctors today as well, who are booked to go skiing in USA in January & their...
