I thought it was generally recognised Amex makes more of an effort to collect L3 data than other networks. Airline ticket charges almost always show this extra information on my Amex statements, but they definitely collect other information you can't see on the frontend - for all charges.

Just got approved for the Biz one!

US Amex (for now) transfers 1:1 with Hawaiian Miles, which in turn transfer 1:1 with Alaska Mileage Plan. Both transfers are instant. Alaska recently purchased Hawaiian, so it seems likely Amex transfers will be ended at some point - Alaska uses Citibank as an issuer, not Amex.
