Hey thank you for this post Mitti, moved from gold to platinum in July with membership yr ending 30/9, just spoken with FF and received the same advice, call us on 1/10 and we will credit the 150sc to the new member year. 👍

Ok I might be having a seniors moment here,. I received the 150sc on 8/9 and after reading through the posts again, I’ve come to the conclusion that as my membership yr ends 30/9 then I can contact (grovel) to Qantas FF and have the 150 sc applied to my new membership yr commencing 1/10. But...

Pretty sure the sizes would be incorrect lol

I’ll admit it I’m in the dark on this, but hardly surprising as even after 6 years on AFF I still have to refer to Matt’s glossary to understand all of these acronyms lol……

I’m in the same boat, I wonder if qantas is running the numbers or has simply gotten the PR spike and now as usual couldn’t care less.

It’s just a thought, wondering if there will also be a U-turn on the “bonus loyalty gift” SC’s not being eligible for LTG etc status? Would be a pleasant surprise lol.

Same here, my year ends in 30 days and I’ve attained platinum for next member year. A worthless “thank you “ from Qantas! I've filed it with their myriad of apologies over the years….

I needed 683 sc to get LTG., now because of this U-turn I’ve just booked and will pick up 640, any suggestions for the other 43 greatly appreciated.
