What will you do with MR points?

I bit the bullet! Transferred 100,000 MR to SPG. I note that SPG gives you 5,000 bonus for every 20,000 transferred to AA. So 60,000 SPG = 75,000 AA. :) I just joined AA online - seems that you can only book award tickets out of Australia by calling them. Is there any additional charge to...

What will you do with MR points?

Is the Amex MR - SPG promo still on until end of September? The Amex website says you get 330 SPG points for 1000 MR points. I can't see any reference to getting 600 SPG points. The AA award chart looks great! Getting J to Asia for 70K is awesome. It seems you can also get Y to North America...

    AMEX to SPG

Is the 1000 Amex points for 600 SPG points still current? What is the general view of the SPG program? Is it easy to get free hotel nights? And I assume there are no tax issues with free nights (like with airline seats). TIA :)

This is by far the most easy way to get free travel insurance. Annual fee is only $87 and there are the other Gold insurance benefits...

Amex Platinum Credit Card - Sydney/Perth flight

Hi, I will need to travel to Perth later this year. I realise that Amex has removed Perth from the list of Sydney departures, but Sydney is available if you are departing from Perth. I was curious as to whether it's possible to book, for example: Perth - Sydney, 1 October Sydney - Perth, 10...

Citibank readyCredit - Give yourself a present this xmas

You have nothing to worry about! The Banks are forced to join the Banking Ombudsman, and the reason they pay for it is so that the consumer doesn't pay a cent. Good luck!
