Hertz - Electric car fuel charge

I hired an EV in the UK over Christmas and returned it to LGW. It was charged just 20 quid, even though the battery had 10% or so left. Super convenient. BP Pulses were my friend in the end. It always had a 50kw/hr charge and was conveniently located. Saved heaps on 'fuel' so will hire again.

Qantas wins Shonky Award ... again

A friend is getting screwed over by Qantas due to FF ticketing issues. They had confirmed flights and then got re-accommodated to a new flight due to BA changing their schedule. Qantas never reissued the ticket, and BA cancelled. QF sat on it for 2 months and then told my friend it's not their...

Ola - app payment problems in December (debt collector involved)

If OLA doesn't advise of a dispute process, then they haven't got a leg to stand on. The fact that OLA don't offer credit accounts means the burden should be on them to provide you with a payment solution and not simply release the hounds...

He checked in using the app and when he dropped his bags off at the counter (ex Nelson in NZ) he asked about his FF and that's when dropping bags off and they told him that his Qantas FF was in there. Brawl in the air on Scoot

I was on the flight down from SIN. Cabin crew aren’t big people and the male cabin supervisor was normal build. If similar crew was on the return leg, I can understand the reluctance to jump in. Thankfully, a few big lads jumped on him. PoPo might be reluctant to prosecute as on board a SG...

    7-month Qantas saga

I think this is the crux of the complaint. QF had a number of options to resolve this. 1) Advise the customer that in the interests of time, book a taxi and keep the receipt 2) Keep the promise to call back and keep the customer updated. 3) Advise to do long term park and keep the receipt and...

Singapore Airlines Premium Economy - opinion

Always keep an eye on Etihad out of Mamila. They often have some sharp business class pricing there. Manila to Europe and then Rome/Milan/Dublin/Istanbul to Sydney will often get you under $4k which leaves just a tidy flight from AU to MNL. I had a 30% discount code recently and saw Manila to...
