Hi, flying from Perth to Launceston close to Xmas. I was able to pre-select seats from Perth to Melbourne and the return trip from Hobart to Perth, but unable to on the Melbourne - Launceston leg (QF2289). Has anyone come across this before and knows why? thanks in advance.

Hi, my flight QF773 (Melb to Perth) mid July has been changed to the new configuration - great news. The downside is that the previous seats of myself + Mrs Insync are no longer sitting together. Not a lot of choice between available seats - 6E & 6F - but from what I read isn't really great...

Recently flew upstairs one way and downstairs (5J) on the way back. Better service upstairs, but that may have just been the FA on the particular flights.

Hi The 1st leg of an upcoming trip is from PER to BNE on flight QF652. I have noticed that as it is a Saturday evening the plane type listed is 737-800. How do I tell if it is the newer or refurbished vs. the older style. thanks.
