    Unfair bag damage compensation

Ever leave the airport without getting a property irregularity report. Then send it for repair and you should get an immediate replacement. I have replaced several of my hard shells this way. American paid me directly. JAL was replaced by repairer. Qantas had a stack of new bags in the office...

Compensation for no IFE in J Syd to HNL

What compensation would you expect for this: Paid Premium Economy on Cathay SYD-HKG. Seat broken with no recline. Only noticed after the seat belt sign went off. Cabin full. Want recline? Purser offered a row at the back of ECONOMY cabin. And we'll throw in a nice pillow and doona from...

For QF and VA - a LATAM solution to boarding that WORKS!!

My AA experiences have been really good. Their app counts down the minutes to when board commences. So you can arrive at the gate 1 min in advance. I get there a bit earlier if my exec platinum upgrade needs to clear at gate. Group boarding works fine. And being the USA everyone goes along...

    J cheaper than Y

Yes two years ago I flew SYD AKL on Emirates in J cheaper than on JETSTAR same flight departure! The AA First class fares domestically for multi city trips (i.e. mileage and QF status credit runs) are always extremely good value.

Good grief they are kidding themselves...... "American Airlines wants you to know it would really, really appreciate it if you could ask before raising the window shade, and if you could not hog the armrest. Also, be nice to the flight attendants when they greet you." You know every flight I...

AU to NYC via LAX Question

I agree something must be in the water making the TSA people work faster - I think over Memorial Day there were horror stories in the press of three hour queue delays so they don't want bad press. I connect through LAX to somewhere in the US every month. Did it yesterday and it was a breeze -...

Should I transfer from QF FF to AAdvantage?

So you have to pay to get lounge access regardless of status? If I am OW Emerald on QF I can still use the lounge until that expires right?

Should I transfer from QF FF to AAdvantage?

Hi I am looking for some advice.... I am moving from Australia to the US later this year. Currently I accrue mileage and status on Qantas and hold Qantas Platinum / OW Emerald status. If I switch to AAdvantage and accrue miles I will get free uprgrades once I qualify for Executive Platinum...
