Technically, you're allowed a stopover in HNL if that's your N. American gateway city.

Yup, same-day UA-UA connections will give you lounge access. Keep in mind that regional jets depart from Terminal A, not C, which is where all of the mainline UA flights go to.

LAS - The Strip isn't too far from the airport and you have plenty of entertainment and dining options within one area. SEA - We have a light rail between the airport and the downtown area.

The upside with BWI is that Amtrak serves BWI Airport, like they do with EWR airport. DCA and IAD are pretty far away from Washington Union Station, especially if you add in the time it takes during rush hour.
