Doggy style ;/ [Support Animal in Cabin]

Yes, I flew on a Delta International flight from Tokyo to San Francisco earlier this year and there was actually a few people on the flight travelling with their pet dog in the cabin. I am pretty sure they need to keep it in a kennel that fits under the seat in front. I do like dogs, but I...

10 QFF Points per $ - Gift Vouchers are back!

Re: QFF points for gift vouchers These gift vouchers were looking pretty good until I read the fine print "..international travel departing Australia". Well... that's a little annoying.

Best lounge to use at Narita for QF22

There is a departure walking corridor on the north side of the old shuttle track and a separate arrivals walking corridor on the south side. It is a reasonable walk, however there are multiple moving walkways which do make it easier (although not as easy as the old shuttle). Be aware though that...

Reply buttons bug for the most recent post (Chrome)

I have also found that the last post on a page, the text for that post always seems to be included in the advertisement area (container/div etc) so the formatting isn't correct. Using Google Chrome as well, although not sure if it is browser based.

    Flying your Pet

I recommend Australian air Express. Have used them multiple times in the past (although not dogs). You will need to provide appropriate travel box/cage/carrier. Drop him off at the AaE terminal and have your sister ready to pick him up on the other end when the flight lands.

    New Plane Smell

I flew CX739 in J last Friday 8th November from HKG-SIN and the aircraft itself was very clean and looked brand new, even had a new plane smell. Is there any way to check what the previous flights are for that aircraft? It was a Boeing 777-300ER.

    Lounge to myself

I had the Qantas Hong Kong lounge to myself last Friday for about an hour or so before getting CX739 to SIN.

How strictly does QF enforce the 4~ requirement for retention of status?

I agree, it is way too much of a generalisation, and I don't see why people would be wanting them to increase it anyway? It would be like asking them to increase the price of the ticket? Like you I spend a reasonable amount with Qantas now as my trips home are normally always in Business. Since...

How strictly does QF enforce the 4~ requirement for retention of status?

I agree, 4~ is plenty to ensure loyalty, especially if they want the program to be worthwhile to international QFF customers. If it wasn't for Jetstar Airways/Asia/Japan it would be almost impossible to get or retain status without making a trip or two back home to Australia each year. If the...

AFF pages cutting off last 3 posts per page

Has anyone experienced AFF pages not displaying the last 3 posts on each page when "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" is set to use Forum Default? I changed the setting to 20 per page and it seems to be displaying correctly. This was happening in both Internet Explorer 10 and Google Chrome 29...

FAA may let you use electronic devices during takeoff and landing soon

It looks like the F.A.A. in the US may be allowing passengers to leave their devices turned on during take off and landing (although with wireless communications turned off). Instead of the devices being certified the aircraft will need to be certified they can tolerate the interference. I...
