HSBC Star Alliance credit card in Australia

I can i say is I called them, I'm pretty sure I got the offer as soon as it was available. The bonus points took the longest ive ever waited AFTER min spend. Pretty sure its 90 days regardless of how quick you meet the spend. Best of luck

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Bad value, yes thats one way of putting it 2.5x the points and 10x the fees, poor Qantas :( Where exactly is the good value with redeeming QFF points these days?

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Left out the ++ You get the point, this seems extreme. Looking a similar flights with Alaskan Mileage Plan, fees and taxes reflective of those charged on AA. So poor Qantas gets shafted by JAL? Unlikely...

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Another example of Qantas taking the p!ss? AAdvantage QFF Same flight, same plane, same date AA fees & taxes USD$27.60 Qantas fees & taxes USD$236.20 Explain how Qantas can be USD$200+ more per passenger for the exact same flight?

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

I've been avoiding them for years. A happy Krisflyer, Alaskan Mileage Plan and AAdvantage user. I've got over 600k QFF that I'd like to use at some point! As mentioned many times previously, Qantas is by far the worst for searching and booking award travel

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

I find their website and app really poor for searching for awards, using seats.aero helps but overall it certainly isn't setup to easily find value

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Happy to eat my words, the awards on AA are phantom. Qantas is still a garbage national airline that has been in a very steep decline for sometime now. Their points are by far the worst out of all I have. 1705232500 lol! yes Royal Jordanian, and even they are superior to Qantas!

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

One shouldn't have to "be in the know" in order to not get fleeced. Points to pay should be an option when searching for a cash fare, completely misleading consumers when you click "Use Points" and are shown cash fares that you can pay with your points (at an exorbitant rate). Why do you think...

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Qantas points never used to be this useless. I think losing Qatar to Velocity was probably the final nail. What are people actually using QF points for these days? Once upon a time I booked 2x 280k J awards with Finnair, Qatar, Air Jordan, Cathay and more. I'd imagine piecing an itinerary like...

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

The fact that you have to click a tiny "award flight" button to use your points properly, leaves many unsuspecting Qantas users spending far more points then they should - this is 100% deliberate

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Its almost as if they make a lot more money off people wasting their points on JQ or even worse, not understanding what a Classic Award flight is and booking with points - which is the default offering. Very shady from Qantas, they continue to prove to be "The Stench of Australia"

Qantas deliberately hiding QF awards to QFF and pushing JQ seats instead?

Background: I dont fly Qantas much, in fact I'd avoid at all costs. Regardless, I'm a silver, and have lots of points. I also have AA and Alaskan points which I use to book QF J - if I have to fly them. Looking at 4 Economy award seats in October for the family to return from Singapore to...

AMEX Platinum Charge Benefits - Q&A

In my opinion, yes. With award seats harder and harder to find, the ability to send your miles to 20+ programs is great. Transfer Points to Miles

AMEX Platinum Charge Benefits - Q&A

QF and CX are good value redemptions. Access to many more but some are not worth the points (SQ for example)
