Seems like the answer is a resounding no. The codesharing is selective. PVG to PEK: QF4001 9:20am -> 11:55am QF4003 9:05pm -> 11:40pm and PEK to PVG: QF4000 7:25am -> 9:55am QF4004 10:40am -> 12:55pm QF4006 1:10pm -> 3:30pm QF4002 7:00pm -> 9:20pm

I don't think that'll work, as the fuel surcharges are calculated based on the country where you start your award flights.

Instead of ringing you can also add your QF PNR to a checkmytrip.com account. Bring up the booking there and the second line of each listed flight will contain the carrier specific PNR. Just be warned that if you book a codeshare (e.g. QF flight number, operated by JL) you won't see JL's PNR...
