    Why can't MEL have a LAX-style walkway between T1/T3 and T2 airside?

    What are MEL Airport building in T1 then…. ?Near the QF pier A Gate 1, it’s boarded up and I thought it had words to the effect of ‘terminal connector or T1/2 connection or something’. Tired eyes when I walk past it but I’m sure it was something like that.

    Slightly OT but from a colleague with connections at UA, apparently their AU flights are struggling… which reflects some of the commentary in this thread on many planes going out less than half full. I wonder if this means UA service cut backs are on the horizon too.

    Hopefully they are similar to the new QF A220 fleet which I find really comfortable (for Y). The new VA737 seats I find very very hard and on a slightly odd angle for me. I haven’t flown NZ Y for a very long time so couldn’t compare!
