Can you check the amount of points required by eithad on the velocity website? I've tried dummy dates from Melb to Singapore & it simply says thay there are no flights. Actually, how can one chekc how many points a partner airline requires?

Sorry, i completely got that wrong. You are correct, it's 152k (+200) for a return fare on anyseat. So, that could work... as it would only cost us 1 x full fare return that we wouddl hopefully get for $1200. This may be a viable option..
