Morning all. Just received an email from Qantas Platinum One. It is introducing ' The Platinum One Briefing' which is an update on QF's latest news and has a link for 2 QF Club Invitations. All very interesting and seems like an 'enhancement'.

Doubt it would be at Melbourne anyway. It was said on AusBT that the flight would land in Sydney on the 19th of October, and three will most likely be a major 'Hangar Event'

Slightly off topic, but I would imagine there a plans in place for the welcoming of the Dreamliner on Oct 20th. Wonder if there are any invitations to P1's going out soon ? Not a fan of the Dreamliner, but wouldn't mind seeing the inaugural (6 years late) arrival.

I get the "you fly more than we do" comment regularly. To me, that comment is pointless and not necessary. The amount of times lately I have stepped off an aircraft with a below average customer service experience is way too high. P1 or Bronze, shouldn't happen to either. Gee, someone is grumpy...

The whole P1 status is the most underwhelming experience. Sometimes I feel like the FA's go out of their way to ignore me more. Some crew and ok, some are poor, very few are excellent.
