    I was really surprised as well. The travel agent told me to continually check CMT. I checked the CMT website a number of times before my flight left, and it said the same departure time - which turned out to be wrong.

    MelUser and Cruiser Elite, thanks for your suggestions: I bought them through a travel agent, who told me to check my online itinerary. They also directed me to the Air China call centre, who were really difficult to communicate with.
