I applied in mid December for this card (with 150SC/30k promotion). Needed to be approved by 31st December. Heard nothing back from AMEX until today. Approved my application but promotional period had closed. So I am cancelling the card before it even arrives :)

Yes the JAL lounge is much nicer than the QF/JQ lounge, as you would expect.

yes; I think overall; the JAL lounge at NRT is better than the QF lounge, you just have leave time to take the train to the annex building for the QF/JQs gates.. I like the upstairs dining room
