    A330s out of life

330 turns are naturally slower but they are generally timetabled as such. In J, why would you pick a 737 at a similar price, but with what appears to be the fleet refurb plan I think widebodies are gone from domestic other than a handful of mostly PER tags

    Qantas starts international wifi

Be good to get some speed tests. I'm assuming speeds would be lower than over Australia (NBN Skymuster) as it's an earlier gen satellite with broader beam spreads. The hardware is presumably ordered for the 787, A380s and remaining 330s From what I recall earlier it's an easier job on the 787s...

    2025 F1 Thread

    2025 F1 Thread

A bit of a hollow victory for Lando. I won't say Oscar was robbed because he put himself in that position by being a bit too aggressive.

    eSims, what is your experience.

Set my parents up with a 3GB / 30day Euro eSIM via BNESim for the grand price of A$7.86. Worked perfectly as they got off the plane. More for emergencies - not big data users, and on organised tours that will likely have Wifi in a bus.

Major changes to Velocity Frequent Flyer announced 17/10/24

It's fixed until you go up a level, at which point a new 12mth period starts, which arguably means you aren't wasting credits in that instance. Those who are Plat obviously need to drop then go back up. Companion Gold/Plat work within the Plat membership year

    QF10 Jul03 delay question

Normally if a flight is delayed ~24hrs they will append a D so QF10D for example, and typically have it going at least an hour either side of the scheduled flight.

Major changes to Velocity Frequent Flyer announced 17/10/24

Anyone know how much flex VA is currently applying in renewals. My sibling is seemingly sitting 15 SCs off Plat renewal after a miscalc under the new $ system with double SC (one flight ended as Lite not Flex) The official expiry is over but they are flying as a family shortly to Europe...

Flight cancelled - and all because of a wine stain
