No priority seating for Qantas Platinum on Emirates Flights code shared with Qantas

Just landed in Dubai from Perth. Apparently when you book and pay with Qantas and they code share with Emirates, you dont get priority seating automatically, you have to check in on line and its a cough shoot on what seating you get. We were seated at the rear of the plane in economy on Emirates...

A very long run comes to an end...

Agree with Pleb Status. Actually amazed it has taken Pleb Status so long to make the change. Living in Perth and doing up to 28 overseas trips per annum, I felt it tough when I achieved 4000 Status points in one year with One World partner flights and didn’t achieve Platinum one with Qantas...

    Expiring Points

thanks for the prompt reply. your points are duly noted. As a FF we are all busy and focussing ones attention on modifying an email address when one leaves an employer or not noticing you dont get Skywards electronic newsletters each month is problematic. I would cop it on the chin if it was...

    Expiring Points

Emirates took 170,000 FF miles from me earlier this year and their excuse is that I should have known their points expired after x years. Few redeeming factors, I had a dormant email account not used due to change of employer, hence missed their email warnings, didnt receive any hand delivered...
