Cost works out to $0.018 usd per mile at the 40k and 60k levels including bonuses. Not bad at all really.

Eww... wow, okay I didn't realize it was for mile earned instead of mile flown. That makes this much less attractive. I guess it's not the same as flying on AA flights where I got 0.5 EPQ per mile despite being in S class.

Hah. Awesome. Thanks for this tip and the other info. I thought "O" qantas gives 0.5 EQP. SIN-PER-SIN is 4.8k total miles according to gcmap resulting in 2.4k EQP which is enough. Am I doing that right? I'd love to do a better value run but I just don't have the time to do it right now.

Thanks for that info. I was noticing the "E" fare which didn't show up anywhere on the AA website. That's too bad. The PER-SIN direct prices on matrix at $300 (great!), but expedia.br is charging a $60 fee (yikes!).
