Not to be rude, but have you considered looking at the Jetstar Platinum website? It explicitly states this on the front page.

no one can tell you that, you need to look at where you spend your money. that'll earn you 5200 points each way (though it'll go up as your Qantas status does), no idea how much upgrades cost.

Sure, Bankwest Platinum Zero is not a rewards card. How much do you spend each year? Will you actually benefit from paying an annual fee?

Oh, and don't forget that the number of reward program "points" per dollar is meaningless - you need to figure out what they actually get you. e.g. with an ANZ Platinum Rewards card, you do get 3 points per dollar on the Amex, but " Account Holders will receive 2,000 KrisFlyer Miles for 6,000...

Both have pretty terrible rewards systems, and for most people, paying any annual fee at all is a waste of money, since it usually exceeds the value of the points earned. Probably the two best options are either Bankwest Platinum Zero ($0 annual fee, no rewards, no fees for overseas purchases)...

there's no point trying to 'play the game' if you don't have a personal valuation on points, which is *always* specific to your circumstances. for most people, 3c/point is comically generous, since they're only worth that for things like upgrading to business class, and require many many years...

issuing World cards means they get to charge the super-premium interchange rate, so they'll presumably be pushing them pretty hard soon.

if you really care about Mastercard, dunno, but if Visa is ok, Citibank Signature is hard to beat.

if you want a back up for the Citi Plus debit card (by far the best card for overseas cash), ING Orange only charges $2.50 per withdrawal with, apparently, no forex fee.

nope, Jetstar cards have always been Macquarie. maybe you're thinking of the second lot of Virgin cards.

if someone is picking up the tab (ie reimbursing your entire CC bill), then it's very very hard to beat the Citi Signature at $0. if you're paying, you're unlikely to beat 28 Degrees/Bankwest Platinum Zero.
