Seems like QF are making a bigger deal of this than EK for their top tier FF's. Will be interesting to see if anything else comes up. At this stage I will be flying with EK again on 2 April so will be keen to see if there is any noticeable difference in treatment for EK plat being 2 days into...

I was at this airport a few weeks ago and it is largely completed inside by the looks of it but I would go so far as to guarantee that it will never be used by EK as it is absolutely miles from nowhere between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The transit time from the airport to Dubai would be a nightmare...
