Generally I have my dongle with me so in Aus not a problem. Overseas can be a problem. I was in London recently and typically Accor was GBP15 for 24 hours at the Mercure in Kensington, the no name 3 star joint next door had free wireless.. amazing they can do it but Accor can't.
