I have heard that flights branded Qantas to Tasmania are not run by Qantas but a sub contractor who use the Qantas branding. Is this true? Where else is this being done/ Do the staff involved have the same training as Qantas staff particularly the cabin crew and pilots?

Being 194cm (6'4") I have no choice but to always try to get an aisle or window seat. Have only once flown to Europe economy. Never again.Just try to stretch when sitting in a window seat and being this height. Always try to fly business to europe. Just manage economy on domestic.

I don't mind the press reporting the incidents. Just a shame they don't also comment on the highly efficient way the flight crew handle such situations. Qantas is ensuring that their crews are amongst the best trained in the industry. Look at the Singapore incident!
